Anthropologie | Islington Square | 2023
In 2019, AMD worked with American retailer Anthropologie to establish itself on British soil, designing 7 unique stores across the UK to appeal to their creative minded customer. The success of these stores have led on to many more, including the launch of Anthropologie Islington Square in 2022, a highly visible and stand out store on busy Upper Street.
A place for the discerning shopper, Islington Square is a natural fit for the brand. Our brief was to create of white box shop bespoke to Anthropologies needs and requirements. We worked closely with the landlords for this phase, creating a unique, bright and welcoming shell to entice and appeal to Anthropologie customers
Set across 7000 sq ft over two floors, the ground level plays home to the main retail space for fashion and homewares, whilst the first floor provides ample space for fitting rooms and their loungewear range.
Working alongside the in-house design team at Anthropologie were also commissioned to design and manufacture fixtures and fittings for the store, using the specially designed systems we’ve previously developed for the company. Anthropologie’s furnishings are their own, and all available to buy from in store.
